KRATZER AUTOMATION installed a new climatic chassis dynamometer within the climatic windtunnel

Friday, March 29: Open day at, CSTB Centre Scientifique et Technique du Bâtiment in Nantes France. The French minister for ecological and inclusive transition, François de Rugy, inaugurated the newly upgraded facility. On site, KRATZER AUTOMATION installed and commissioned a new climatic chassis dynamometer within the climatic windtunnel. This unique testing facility now allows to create snow, rain , sun and dust, as well as storm weather conditions. Performance of the windtunnel: -35°C / +60°C, 0 / 100% RH, 100 mm of snow on over 250 m² surface. Wind speed: 140 km/h performance of the installed chassis dynamometer: 4x4, 250 kW, 250 km/h, 10000 Nm, 7t per axle. Michel Desjoyeaux, famous French sailor, was impressed by the capacity and technology of the chassis dynamometer operating with our robot driver under snow conditions. Attendees from all over Europe became witnesses of the performances and possibilities of the climatic chassis dynamometer.
