The PWM generator was specially designed to control flaps, actuators, valves, and smaller DC motors. It is suitable for use in electrical cabinets. A particular feature is the H-bridge power output that enables reversed PWM output signals to change the rotational direction of the actuator.
All settings can be made via CAN high-speed interface (automotive CAN 500K). The PWM generator has an integrated position feedback (0 – 5V) for controlling the actuator. For prospective requirements, a SENT interface according to SAE J2716 has been integrated and can be configured via an internal USB interface.
Due to an integrated learning mode, the limit positions of the actuator can easily be identified. The operating state of the actuator on the test bench can be monitored at any time using the integrated current measurement.
