Today's applications for automating test sequences, test field management and test data management must be seamlessly integrated and must be quickly adaptable to changed conditions. The amount of data generated in daily development work of modern test benches and testing centres requires efficient data handling and test data management. This data must be made available for evaluation and optimally prepared for further development work. Optimum test bench planning and suitable organisation of test orders can also improve utilisation of test benches and testing centres.
The goal of integrated testing is to create consistent, transparent processes from entry of the test sample through the planned order to approval of test results. This gives users a complete overview of the current status of the test benches and test sequences in the test field. That information can be used in turn to plan and administer test orders more efficiently and optimize the use of resources in a test field.
