Turbo Energy Limited, the leading supplier of turbochargers in India, has placed an order on KRATZER AUTOMATION to deliver a turbocharger test bench based on the approved, innovative natural gas combustion technology. For the first time, KRATZER AUTOMATION takes an order in India, further extending its customer base in the Asian market. With the new test stand, Turbo Energy Limited is hence able to automatically determine the thermodynamic behavior of exhaust turbochargers and perform additional tests, such as bearing performance ,shaft displacement and endurance testing.
Turbo Energy Limited (TEL) was established in 1982 as a joint venture between Brakes India Limited, Sundaram Finance Ltd and BorgWarner Turbo Systems Worldwide Headquarters GmbH. Today, TEL is the leading turbocharger supplier to all original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) operating in India.
In order to provide enhanced services in research and development, TEL has now decided to utilize a test system for turbochargers developed by KRATZER AUTOMATION. The test bed is based on a natural gas burner technology making it possible to set exactly reproducible mass flow, temperature, and pressure conditions at the turbocharger and to simulate possible operating points. In addition to the general system components of the test bench, KRATZER AUTOMATION will implement a wide range of ancillary equipment.
