Munich, February 2019: KRATZER AUTOMATION AG opens its new training centre for the Test Systems division in Unterschleißheim. At the new location in the immediate vicinity of the headquarters, the company will train the test bench and operating personnel of international customers. In the future, training participants will be able to receive the operating concepts of all types of test benches with PAtools and the preparation of test data with testXplorer. The training centre (KAA) helps to shorten complex commissioning processes and to deploy its own optimally trained personnel on the test stand from the very first day of commissioning.

KRATZER AUTOMATION develops integrated test bench solutions for the automotive industry in its Test Systems division. The company covers a multitude of different vehicle components - from engines, turbochargers and transmissions to batteries and fuel cells for sustainable drive concepts. KRATZER AUTOMATION supplies test bench technology and software from a single source and adapts each complete system to the individual development and test requirements of the customer.
The optimal training of the operating personnel is of great importance.

KRATZER AUTOMATION is now setting up a training centre in specially designed rooms in order to practice the interaction of the components and in particular the operation of the extensive software in advance. The training participants can safely train the processes and the operating concept of the software in realistic test environments. The participants also have the opportunity to gain their own initial experience with the operating environment of their individual configuration.

The aim of this concept is to keep the effort for implementation and training on site as low as possible and to avoid time-consuming follow-up training. The new training center is designed to meet the needs of the participants and the content of the training. In modern rooms equipped with the latest technology, training content focused on the later area of application can be conveyed. Specialists with a developer background in PAtools and testXplorer development can respond to individual training content at any time.

The KRATZER AUTOMATION Academy is part of the Precommissioning Center in Unterschleißheim. "The location was ideal for us for several reasons," says Uwe Krummenoehler, Member of the Executive Board for the Test Systems Division at KRATZER AUTOMATION. "On the one hand, we benefit from the direct spatial proximity to our development at the headquarters: The direct connection to the Precommissioning Center creates further synergies under one roof. Training often took place at the customer's premises only after completion and acceptance of the customer's projects. For some time now, we have been using the opportunity to train customer personnel parallel to the test bench installation. Our customers make such active use of this opportunity that we have decided to set up our own training centre. This enables us to respond directly to the project-specific focal points within the scope of different offers and to prepare the operating personnel perfectly for later practical use. With the KRATZER AUTOMATION Academy on our premises we create an efficient and didactically optimal training and learning environment for the employees of our customers".

The training center is part of the Precommissioning Center in Munich, which is being built at the same time and will be launched in 2019. The PCM enables the pre-assembly and initial acceptance testing of test systems.
