KRATZER AUTOMATION AG opens its new office for the Test Systems division in Alsdorf near Aachen. At the new location in North Rhine-Westphalia, the company will intensify its presence in the field of electrified drives and cooperation with partners and customers from the western regions of Germany and the Benelux countries. Among other things, engineers and developers will work on test systems for future vehicle generations in close proximity to customers and scientific institutions. The office in Alsdorf will help to shorten innovation cycles and to be able to react even more directly to new inquiries as well as to service and consulting in the field of e-mobility.
KRATZER AUTOMATION develops integrated test bench solutions for the automotive industry in its Test Systems division. The company covers a wide range of different vehicle components - from engines, turbochargers and transmissions to batteries, fuel cells and complete drive trains for sustainable drive concepts. KRATZER AUTOMATION supplies test bench technology and software from a single source and adapts each complete system to the customer's individual development and test requirements.
Proximity to customers and partners from the automotive industry has long been part of the corporate strategy at KRATZER AUTOMATION. The company is already present in all important regions of Germany and worldwide. The location in the region around Aachen now takes the importance of this industrial cluster into account. The entire location is geared to further growth.
"The location was an obvious choice for us for several reasons," says Uwe Krummenoehler, member of the Board of Management responsible for the Test Systems division at KRATZER AUTOMATION. "On the one hand, we shorten the physical distance to our customers in the entire region in the west of Germany and the neighbouring Benelux countries. On the other hand, we benefit from the excellent training of the employees we can find and hire in the region. The geographical proximity to scientific facilities, customers and partners enables us to intensify the direct exchange of know-how and also to use and further develop the competence centre as a sales hub. Our 8 new colleagues are just the beginning. We are already working on strengthening our new team".
Already in February the office starts operations with initially 8 employees. From now on, further future-oriented jobs for technical specialists in the field of vehicle development and e-mobility can be found there.
Uwe Krummenoehler: "For us, the Alsdorf location is another visible result of our long-term growth strategy. As a company, we will increasingly strengthen our presence there and also create jobs where our customers can be found. In Germany, in Europe and of course worldwide. I am looking forward to working with our initially 8 new employees in Alsdorf and wish them all an excellent start. Anyone potentially interested in joining us in the future should contact our recruiting specialists immediately".
