Munich, June 2011. KRATZER AUTOMATION as leading mobile solutions provider has partnered with Isotrak, the UK leader in vehicle tracking and transport management solutions, in order to provide an enhanced application utilising KRATZER AUTOMATION’s best-in-breed communications platform and software for hand held and fitted devices to communicate with Isotrak’s core Active Transport Management System (ATMS) product. This will result in a joint offering of a completely bespoke system, superior to any other product of its kind currently in the marketplace.
KRATZER AUTOMATION and Isotrak provide business solutions that radically improve the logistical operations of its customers providing significant cost savings, competitive advantage and better control and exploitation of assets. Isotrak’s Active Transport Management System (ATMS) provides customers with significant reductions in fleet road miles, fuel consumption, empty running, CO2 production, store and depot turnaround times and has enabled customers to reduce their fleet sizes. Better routing, delivery on time (ETA) and lower cost per delivery has kept Isotrak’s customers competitive in difficult economic climates. The solution of KRATZER AUTOMATION can be integrated with minimal effort from both parties via Isotrak’s Web Services Interface.
KRATZER AUTOMATION is an innovative software company predominant in mainland Europe which specialises in Mobile Logistics applications while Isotrak is the UK leader in transport management solutions and systems integration. The partnership makes perfect sense and will see two key industry leaders establish a joint standing in the Mobile Transportation management marketplace.
The integration will see the KRATZER AUTOMATION communication layer utilised as part of the Isotrak Mobile Solution, so that any message (including Driver Login/Logout, Text Message, Manifest Download) sourced from Isotrak’s ATMS, will be directed through the KRATZER AUTOMATION server hosted in Isotrak’s data centre. This will provide Isotrak with a ready-built infrastructure for any mobile communications and ultimately result in a best-in-class product to help Isotrak customers to stay competitive in increasingly challenging times.
Greville Coe, Sales & Marketing Director at Isotrak commented: ‘Isotrak’s philosophy is to work with partners and leverage their expertise wherever possible. The use of KRATZER AUTOMATION’s communications layer made perfect sense for both parties.’
David Burder, UK Country Manager at KRATZER AUTOMATION added: ‘We see both Isotrak and KRATZER AUTOMATION working closely together in the future enabling customers to take advantage of a highly scalable, European wide Mobile Transportation management solution.’
