Efficiency in the test field – Test bench solutions for tomorrow’s vehicles
Munich, June 2014. KRATZER AUTOMATION is presenting its visitors with new ideas and options for optimizing test scenarios and test procedures in modern test centers. These will be based on specific procedures which address the questions test center operators are actually dealing with. Showing and explaining the solutions will show the advantages and options of getting test bench and test bench software from one single source.
Making innovations ready for the market.
With complete and comprehensive test bench solutions, KRATZER AUTOMATION offers within its test systems division, turnkey technologies for the development of both consumption and performance optimized engines. Automotive companies are provided with reliable future proof test systems and, as required, complete test centers from one single source point. By optimizing test procedures, development times and keeping pace with faster innovation cycles will ensure greater efficiencies.
Future’s topics of modern powertrain solutions demand test bench solutions for battery- and hybrid testing purposes. These test solutions have to meet with the standards required of modern test scenarios. Automotive companies have the opportunity to respond to these new alternative mobility concepts with new efficient and suitable solutions. Industry leading software for scheduling and processing of tests and also for the analysis and providing of test data will efficiently support test engineers and test bench personnel at their daily tasks.
Support test procedures by PAtools TX and testXplorer.
Using PAtools TX and testXplorer-Suite software tools will help optimize the data side of your test operations with integrated mapping of the entire test procedures.
PAtools TX allows for tests and test data generation in real-time mode. The concept is based on distinct separation of real-time requirements at the test bench and state of the art visualization-tools and user-interfaces.
testXplorer-Suite offers a tool for a simple and flexible data organization and data administration at the test field.
Test procedures generate a huge amount of test data and documents such as data output of different measurements from automation systems, logbooks, graphic evaluations, protocols and documents such as CAD-plans, calculations and pictures. All these different types of data have to be organized and handled for future purposes. Testing, even in smaller test fields, will generate a mass of data. testXplorer will help by keeping it organized and providing an overview of the data.
See it for yourself.
Our booth concept at the Testing Expo 2014 allows you to see the importance of the optimal connection of all procedures found within test scenarios. Ideal test procedures will be shown by means of special examples and demonstrations.
Automotive Testing Expo Stuttgart is open from Jun 24th until June 26th 2014 at Neue Messe Stuttgart. You will find us in Hall 1 Booth 1724.
Opening hours:

About KRATZER AUTOMATION
KRATZER AUTOMATION was founded in 1980 by Gerhard Kratzer and Paul Balz as Gerhard Kratzer GmbH Automatisierungstechnik München. From the outset, the company focused on creating industrial, process-related software. Projects in the company’s early years addressed a wide range of industries: in addition to developing the software for Ruhrgas’ operations control center in Essen, the company was also commissioned to automate engine test benches for SHELL and BMW Motorsport and supported the ADAC in controlling its breakdown service fleet through the use of mobile data communications.
Since the mid-1980s, the company began developing software tools for various applications, for example for capturing and storing measurements and displaying them in diagrams. Early in the 1990s, KRATZER AUTOMATION was transformed from a pure software company to a general contractor offering an end-to-end service. In 1999, the company was converted into a stock corporation.
For more than 33 years, KRATZER AUTOMATION has been a successful software company for process-oriented solutions in the automotive, electronic manufacturing and the transport industries. In all three sectors, we strive for optimal solutions and efficient processes along the customer value chain.
The workforce increased continuously to its current level of around 300 employees who work at eight locations worldwide both in Europe and Asia. In addition to its headquarters in Munich, KRATZER AUTOMATION runs branch offices in Stuttgart and Wolfsburg, as well as subsidiaries in France, Great Britain, Czech Republic and China.
The following organizations are customers of KRATZER AUTOMATION: BMW, Bosch, Geodis CIBLEX, Daimler, DB Schenker, DHL, DPD, IDS Logistik, Liebherr, MAN, MTU, Porsche, Austrian Post, TNT, Umicore, VW and Zollner.
In its Test Systems division, KRATZER AUTOMATION plans and implements test systems for the automotive industry, for example for engines, turbochargers and gear chains. In particular, the company focuses on developing test benches for energy-saving and environmentally friendly drive concepts.
