The delivery process:

The driver uses a mobile device (scanner) to document the customer’s acceptance of his or her consignment or items. The customer provides a signature on the device to confirm the delivery and this information, together with the status, date and time are sent to the cadisTRANSPORT platform situated in the distribution centre. There, the scheduler has an overview of his or her area of responsibility. Issues are recognized in good time and the scheduler can promptly take appropriate action or inform the customer.

 

• Confirmation of delivery information
  The delivery note is loaded onto the mobile device at the depot and enables the driver to verify that each delivery is correct as it is carried out.
    
• Easy selection of deliveries by scanning the barcode
  As an item is scanned, the corresponding delivery information on the mobile device, which is then available to be processed, is displayed.
    
• Real-time transfer of secure delivery documentation with recipient’s signature
  The date, time status and signature are stored in the context of the order and transmitted immediately in real time via GPRS.
